Annette Bing took time to share her small business story with Representative Barb Haley (R) District 21A several weeks ago at her popular Family Salon located in the historic Yale Hardware building in downtown Cannon Falls. Annette and Chuck Albers, lead developer of ISO-Aire and president of parent company Ducts & Cleats, underscored the importance of the preventative COVID-19 safety measures small businesses should consider to protect customers and employees, including purified indoor air.

Rep. Haley visited with local constituents during her Cannon Falls tour to hear first-hand how the community is coping during the pandemic. She learned how Annette and Chuck teamed up last June to install an ISO-Aire purification system in her salon as the storefront prepared to reopen with safeguards in place. And they detailed how ISO-Aire™ medical-grade air filtration has enabled many of Annette’s customers to breathe easier as they’ve chosen to return to Family Salon for their hair and styling needs.

ISO-Aire™, developed with proven and powerful components, captures and destroys 99.99% of airborne particles that may contain viruses, bacteria, dust, smoke, and pollen. In fact, the cleaner air has offered great respiratory relief for one of Annette’s employees who suffers with asthma and allergies. ISO-Aire™ can house up to three types of effective filtration including a HEPA (99.99% to .3 microns) filter, ozone-free bipolar ionization, and/or UVC sterilization

“ISO-Aire offers assurance on many levels,” said Bing. “In a tight-knit community we know our customers and their health and safety is our top priority as we slowly adjust to a new normal. During challenging times, we lean on one another to pull through, and we have the ISO-Aire team to thank for working with us to offer peace of mind.”

Chuck, who lives near Cannon Falls, owns Albers Mechanical Contractors and Ducts & Cleats in St. Paul, MN. He and his team developed ISO-Aire™ in response to COVID-19 in early 2020, partnering with a renown Minnesota healthcare organization to create negative-pressure isolation rooms for patients with COVID-19. Chuck and his team recognized the technology could be adapted for commercial spaces, helping small businesses stay open during the pandemic, as well as schools and places of worship.
