Salvation Army - Minneapolis, MN
A beacon of support for underserved Minnesotans, the Salvation Army's Harbor Light Center serves as a safe haven for many. Staffers and volunteers at the state's largest homeless adult outreach facility help individuals in need by offering stability without judgement and inspiring hope through healing.
Now both clients, staff, and community members can breathe easier knowing the indoor air throughout the center is being purified with 18 powerful, in-space ISO-Aire units. Utilizing three layers of proven purification technology, the ISO-Aire models at Harbor Light are engineered with medical-grade HEPA filtration, ozone-free bipolar ionization, and UVC sterilization. When combined the proven components capture and destroy 99.99% of potentially harmful indoor air contaminants and pollutants including viruses and emerging variants, bacteria, mold, pollen, dust, and VOCs.
Hennepin County utilized government CARES grant money to upgrade the indoor air throughout the facility. An ISO-Aire RSF1000 unit is installed in the cafeteria, and 17 RSF500 models are deployed to purify indoor air on each floor of the facility, at main entrance, and in the shelter space.
"The Harbor Light is an anchor of support for our Twin Cities community, and we are incredibly proud to help bring clean air to all building occupants, 24/7," said Chuck Albers, developer of ISO-Aire and owner of parent company Ducts & Cleats.
ISO-Aire delivers proven mitigation strategies that exceed the minimum requirements for indoor air quality established by ASHRAE and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Easy-to-install and requiring low-maintenance, ISO-Aire in-space HEPA air purifiers are cleaning the air and protecting occupants in churches & other places of worship, schools, restaurants, fitness studios, senior living centers, daycare facilities, libraries, and more. Built to last in St. Paul, Minn. for commercial use, yet developed to run quietly and safely, ISO-Aire plugs into a standard 110 volt outlet. ISO-Aire is available in 300 CFM to 2,000 CFM models.
Bringing Safe, Clean Air to the Salvation Army Using Commercial-grade HEPA Air Purifiers
Our signature strategy to maximize safe and continuous air flow involves pulling air and airborne contaminants away from the source utilizing a high-powered fan. Recirculation models continuously capture and destroy harmful aerosolized particles and return purified air into the building environment.
