ISO-Aire Passes FDNY’s Test
Installation at Training Academies Complete
As the country's largest fire department, the Fire Department of New York protects and serves the public responding to more than one million emergencies per year. Now they've taken additional steps to safeguard their own team of highly skilled fire fighters, trainees, instructors, and staff with extensive air quality upgrades inside the FDNY's leading training academies with the installation of ISO-Aire elite commercial air purifiers.
FDNY's facilities and leadership teams tested several ISO-Aire units as they explored options for bringing purified air to their expansive training center campuses, specifically large, high-traffic spaces such as auditoriums and lecture halls as well as classrooms.
The FDNY was impressed with how ISO-Aire is engineered to utilize up to three layers of proven clean air technology including medical-grade HEPA filtration, ozone-free bipolar ionization, and UVC sterilization. The unit's quiet operation, low maintenance, long-life components and high-quality construction helped solidify their decision.
In all, FDNY Randall's Island Training Academy and Fort Totten EMS Academy installed a wide variety of RSF300s, RSF500s, RSF1000s and an RSH1000 (hanging unit) equipped with three layers of protection.
