NYC Adds HEPA Air Purifiers to Back-to-School List of Essentials

In addition to pencils, notebooks, and backpacks, New York City public schools are adding HEPA air purifiers to the 2021-22 classroom supply list.
As highlighted here, the NYC’s education department is rolling out a proactive COVID-19 mitigation strategy and pledging to help protect students and teachers with in-space indoor air quality (IAQ) upgrades.
